Responsibilities:
- 70-80% hands-on development and rest is leading a team as a dev lead including co-ordination, administration, leading agile meetings etc.
- Hands-on development, testing, deployment and supporting Investment Banking research applications using HTML 5, React JS, REST API, streaming services, SQL, Unix and related bank supported technologies.
- Collaborate with other team members (dev, QA, business, cross functional teams), following Agile SDLC process.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), possess an ownership mentality, are willing to be a leader in future.
Your team You'll be working in the Advisory Technology group.
We develop technologies for Sales and Management across the full breadth of the Investment Bank, supporting Client Relationship Management (CRM), Client analytics and Client Revenue Reporting.
The portfolio of projects includes an Oracle Revenue data warehouse with associated data marts; an analytical environment using QlikView; a reporting suite using Business Objects; and a large interactive Flex based application with a backbone of TIBCO EMS and Java services supporting 4000
global users, a major component of the externally advertised in the national press.
The focus for this role is to develop interactive Eclipse Vertex/React telephony and email applications used internally by Research Analysts and Sales teams.
You have:
- Strong server side React, REST Web services and Eclipse Vertex framework, Hands-on experience in developing with React/Flux and HTML5, Solid understanding and strong advocate of agile software development and modern software development practices (automated testing, continuous integration, TDD, relative estimation, specification by example etc.
) - Experience mentoring junior developers and lead Agile development - Nice to Have :
Java skills, reactive programming experience You Are:
- Proficient in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL and performance optimization - Curious, questioning mind - Experience with caching tools (Hazelcast is plus) .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
