Regulatory Capital Management

Your role:
Serve as the main point of contact for Americas Treasury and CCAR process engineering, narratives, information and technology initiatives.
? Lead Americas Treasury's governance and delivery of the annual capital plan and CCAR submission by conducting daily oversight of the process-related work-streams. This includes managing implementation plan deliverables, designing heat maps, and assigning co-owners necessary actions.
? Manage cross-functional dependencies by chairing Working Groups to provide visibility into critical data, technology and control inter-dependencies.
? Assist Regional Capital Management in developing best-in-class Effective Challenge operating model
? Drive Treasury's strategy for formulation of strategic process improvements, communication of strategies to all senior stakeholders (i.e., across Market, Credit and Operation Risk, Treasury, Technology, Lines of Business, and Finance as well as other senior leaders).
? Ensure that relevant stakeholders provide detailed requirements for reporting and oversight of CCAR?s sub-components, including identifying the appropriate infrastructure, business owners and governance framework necessary for satisfying Regulatory requirements
? Collaborate with others in the CCAR central Team, Consultants and external vendors in identifying and proposing solutions to information gaps, technology requirements and overall program management.
? Assist in identifying risks and resolving issues, and escalate issues when necessary

Your team:
Group Treasury is responsible for optimizing the utilization of financial resources, providing governance over the allocation and consumption of regulatory capital and offering technical expertise to partners in the Business, Finance and Risk.
Treasury activities include governance, management and optimization of: capital, liquidity, funding, collateral, structural FX, interest-rate and other on and off balance sheet risk exposures. Optimizing the utilization of financial resources, Group Treasury works to expand the availability of financial resources, increase the firm?s flexibility to adapt to changing markets, avoid structural impediments to efficient funding and enhance risk taking capacity through development of improved measurement and control systems. In this way, we ensure ample competitively priced financial resources and maximize flexibility to pursue our strategic goals.
Your experience and skills:
? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience in a large bank or broker-dealer. A minimum of 3 years in a Treasury or Risk function.
? Governance professional with 8+ years in financial markets within capital, investments or, funding
? Previous experience supporting the execution of a change initiative, or large component of a regulatory program as a technical lead or senior project manager
? Knowledge of US & Basel III capital regulations
? Solid understanding of US GAAP
? Superior communication and presentation skills ? both written & verbal

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
