Americas Capital Management

Your role:
Serve as the main point of contact for Americas Treasury and capital management enhancement framework.
? Design IHC and sub-entity capital management processes by owning risk and analytic output(s), including variance analysis with other regulatory submissions
? Manage CCAR alignment of the IHC's measurement, forecasting, and reporting on key capital metrics, including the 3-year capital planning process
? Identify risks to achieving planned capital targets, including close assessment of internal regulatory stress outputs, and integrate with defined IHC risk profile
? Document CCAR and related processes and methodologies across all entities within the Americas
? Ensure management overlay adjustments are appropriately reflected in capital ratios inputs (e.g. RWA, Leverage, Deductions from Regulatory Capital, etc.)
? Understand the drivers of the capital ratios (e.g. RWA, Leverage, Liquidity, etc.)
? Assist Head of Capital Management in assessing and reviewing capital adequacy of current and projected capital levels and composition
? Coordinate calculation of liquidity ratios with ALM Treasury functional area
? Benchmark CCAR and other regulatory capital ratios to peers and provide comparative analytics

Your team:
Group Treasury is responsible for optimizing the utilization of financial resources, providing governance over the allocation and consumption of regulatory capital and offering technical expertise to partners in the Business, Finance and Risk.
Treasury activities include governance, management and optimization of: capital, liquidity, funding, collateral, structural FX, interest-rate and other on and off balance sheet risk exposures. Optimizing the utilization of financial resources, Group Treasury works to expand the availability of financial resources, increase the firm?s flexibility to adapt to changing markets, avoid structural impediments to efficient funding and enhance risk taking capacity through development of improved measurement and control systems. In this way, we ensure ample competitively priced financial resources and maximize flexibility to pursue our strategic goals.
Your experience and skills:
? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience in a large bank or broker-dealer. A minimum of 3 years in a Treasury or Risk function.
? Experience with the CCAR or Recovery & Resolution processes, including technical knowledge of governance, scenario design, assumptions, capital calculations, associated narratives and overall capital planning framework
? Knowledge of US & Basel III capital regulations
? Solid understanding of US GAAP
? Superior quantitative and analytic skills. Must be comfortable with risk metrics (VaR, Stress, greeks)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
