Internal Sales Specialist (Retirement Products)

Your role:
Do you have experience with providing proactive sales support on a range of topics and issues related to retirement plans and institutional entities? Are you interested in working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for strong performer who can support our business and the sales team with strategic growth initiatives:
? Respond to questions from Financial Advisors on a wide range of issues related to UBS's \"held-away\" retirement plan business and Institutional Consulting program
? Maintain a deep understanding of retirement plan provider product information and resources as well as investment solutions and advisory programs available to retirement plan clients
? Support proactive sales efforts for the Client Acquisition team to include customized materials, market area data and all follow-up efforts
? Participate on conference calls designed to train Financial Advisors on retirement plan issues
? Make outbound calls to support initiatives outlined by the Corporate Solutions & Retirement Services business including efforts around the Firm Advised Fiduciary program
? Participate on conference calls designed to train Financial Advisors on retirement plan issues
? Encourage non-specialist Financial Advisors to identify retirement plan opportunities associated with their existing client base and partner with Retirement Plan Consultants
? Understand UBS marketing resources and leverage them to articulate our value proposition and encourage Retirement Plan Consultants to use them with clients and prospects
? Provide regular feedback from Financial Advisors to Corporate Solutions & Retirement Services
? Develop and maintain complete understanding of UBS tools (investment analysis, provider search, plan feature analysis) available to support Financial Advisors; answer questions from Financial Advisors on retirement plan tools and provide training support
? Leverage understanding of operational processes and requirements (account opening forms, processes, provider data feeds etc.) to respond to Financial Advisor questions and direct them to the appropriate resources

Your team:
You will be part of the National Sales team and a member of the Corporate Solutions & Retirement Services organization. Retirement plans are an integral part of the wealth management service offering and there is a significant opportunity for UBS to deliver retirement plan consulting services to companies of all sizes, but particularly in the $5M-$50M market segment given our wealth management footprint and client relationships which include c-suite executives and business owners. You will help support the Field Facing Sales team, the business and our Financial Advisors in executing against this opportunity.
Your experience and skills:
You have:
? 3-5 years financial services industry experience; at least 3 years of wealth management experience supporting Financial Advisors
? Advanced understanding of retirement plans, industry players and overall industry dynamics
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
? Extremely proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
? Series 7, 66 and retirement plan designation preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
