Product Owner

Job Description
Summary of Position:
The Application Product Owner is responsible forunderstanding and validating the needs of the operational group with regards tothe software application they manage. This includes functional as well asstrategic requirements. The ProductOwner will work with leadership, end users, developers, learning anddevelopment and application support in order to collaborate on all design,documentation, and delivery of required items for the software application theyown. Communication to all supporting teams (Project Management, BusinessAnalysts, Development, Training and Change Management) will include answeringquestions, giving direction and validating requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating and maintaining the Product backlog.
Sort the Product backlog items according to priority.
Assist in organizing Sprint Review Meetings.
Attend sprint planning meetings.
Clearly communicate the business requirements to the Team
Get detail level of requirement from stakeholders or customers
Build and maintain a relationship with the Stakeholders
Education and Experience Requirements:
7+ years of homebuilding experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent
Experience withimplementing various program and project management methodologies
Must possess directexperience with project metrics, dashboards and reports for waterfall and agileprojects
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbentto have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop,reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
