Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build middle-office enterprise system components in C+
for Cash Equities Technology. Capability to interact with business, client support, and other stakeholders, and work independently and in partnership with minimum supervision to deliver Production quality code is crucial to success in this role.
We are a small focused team building software components for enterprise middle-office applications in C++, Java, and C# on the Linux and Windows platforms.
Responsibilities:
o Develop complex enterprise software components in C++/STL consistently following coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.
o Apply sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion.
o Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
o Perform other duties such as Level 3 support
Requirements o 5
years' hands-on development experience in C++/STL on the Linux platform.
o Experience in building multi-threading and networking applications.
o Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
o Strong understanding of Design Patterns.
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related technical fields
Preferred Qualifications o Experience with Boost libraries, C++11, and C++14 is a plus.
o Experience with Tico RV and MQ messaging is a plus.
o Experience with C# or Java is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
