Java Developer

o drive the technical design of application components in concert with team leads in the US o hands on technical development of various application components o work closely with development teams in EMEA and US to ensure project timelines are met o drive and Ensure code quality, UT and SIT testing guidelines and procedures are met o ability to look beyond the status quo and identify areas of constant change/improvement Your team You'll be working in the Mortgage / Lending IT Application Development team. You'll be an integral part of a global team working with associates located in India, and North Americas. years hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodology o strong understanding of MVC, Core Java, J2EE Design Patterns, RDBMS o working experience on Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub and CI tools such as TeamCity, Gradle, Nexus, etc. o strong Java J2EE with Spring framework, WebSphere, Hibernate, XML, jQuery and Web service o working experience on REST services & distributed streaming platform like Kafka o development experience on Apache Tomcat required and experience in software development for the financial industry o ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment; knowledge of Azure Cloud as a plus o able to interact comfortably with all levels of management; comfortable with hands-on detailed work as well as high-level strategic analysis and thinking o proactive and detail-oriented, yet comfortable working in an environment with fast paced deliveries and changing requirements; highly motivated, able to work independently and apply own initiative LI-UBS UBS-MOGUL About us UBS is the world's largest and only truly global wealth manager. $80K -- $100K
