Data Quality Manager ( W2 only)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a contract role ( W2 only) for a skilled and adaptable Data Quality Engineer to bolster our clients' teams on a 6 month contract.
With a focus on data quality assurance and enhancement, you'll play a vital role in ensuring data integrity across various platforms and transitions, from on-premise to cloud-based environments.
What You'll be Up To:
Develop and execute strategies to enhance data quality processes and standards, minimizing errors and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
Utilize Informatica Data Quality and PostgreSQL to implement data quality rules, transformations, and cleansing procedures.
Lead efforts to migrate data quality solutions from on-premise to cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance.
Design and implement data quality monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and support to teams on best practices for data quality management and optimization.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience in Financial services - Wealth Management Experience with Informatica Data Quality and PostgreSQL, including designing and implementing data quality rules and transformations.
Proven ability to migrate data quality solutions from on-premise to cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.
g.
, GDPR, CCPA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Prior experience with other data quality tools and technologies is a plus.
2 days a week in Weehawken, NJ but has a flexibility to do one day in Weehawken, NJ and one day in New York office after 2 months.
